The Petawawa Centennial Family Health Centre is looking for full or part time Locum & Permanent Family Practice Physician(s) to work in a Blended Salary Model Family Health Team.
The team includes: 12 Physicians, 6 Nurse Practitioners, 2 Registered Practical Nurses along with allied health care professionals (Dietitian, Pharmacist and Social Worker). Opportunity is available for ER/hospitalist shifts.

The Canadian Diabetes Prevention Program is a personalized, wellness program that empowers you to lead a healthier life and reduce your risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes. The 12-month program consists of regular telephonic interactions with a personal Health Coach, online education modules and health tracking to help you make small, incremental changes that improve your health and reduce your risk of developing Type 2 Diabetes.

6 Week Eating Disorder Support group for females aged 18 years and older
The Petawawa Centennial Family Health Centre, in partnership with The Phoenix Centre, West Champlain Family Health Centre, Arnprior FHT and Madawaska Valley FHT are please to offer an intensive, evidence-based eating disorder support group, right here in the Ottawa Valley.
This program is offered virtually to rostered and non-rostered patients in order to increase access for all.
6 Week Eating Disorder Support group for females aged 18 years and older
WHO: Females aged 18 years and up with restrictive eating, Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder and other eating disorders
WHEN: Virtual online learning component (weekly information) with weekly live group zoom support groups (Wednesday afternoons from 2-3PM starting September 15 - October 20, 2021).
Zoom support groups will run quarterly (every 3 months).
WHERE: Virtual (online learning, zoom group support or phone)
DETAILS: Group format offered in a structured online learning environment by a multidisciplinary team of a Nurse Practitioner, Registered Dietitian and Social Worker. Educational content is released weekly to ensure adequate time to complete content and focus on weekly topics. Mid-week group support via zoom to discuss weekly content, challenges and wins and upcoming goals.
One you complete the information below, you will be contacted to confirm your admission to the program, as well as receive forms (intake questionnaire, confidentiality form etc)to complete via email. Should you not have appropriate technology to partake virtually, please advise the intake coordinator during your call, as resources are available to assist you.
*Please note, members have the option of participating in just the online program, the online program + the live weekly group support, or school-based support (if school-aged). Parents, ask us about our parent support program.
